The Brief
Julia Naylor is an in-demand MCs and communicator, with years of experience helping people find the right words for life's biggest moments. When she made the move into celebrancy, she needed a website that did the same thing her ceremonies do; feel personal, not templated. Brooks & Boyd was engaged to deliver the copywriting, website design and build, and local SEO setup from the ground up.
What We Did
Copywriting
We wrote the full site (homepage, about page, services and contact) in Julia's voice, drawing out her background as an MC and communicator and connecting it naturally to her new role as a celebrant. The goal was copy that sounds like Julia, not like a celebrant template: warm, confident and personal, with her personality on the page.
Website Design & Build
The site was designed and built on Squarespace, giving Julia a clean, easy-to-navigate site she can manage herself going forward, with a design that reflects the calm, warm feel she creates for her couples.
Local SEO
We set up the site's SEO foundations to help Julia show up in local search when couples in her area are looking for a celebrant covering on-page SEO, metadata and the technical basics needed for her to be found for the searches that matter most.
The Result
Julia now has a website that sounds like her from the first line to the last. It’s clean, professional and built to make a strong first impression with couples searching for a celebrant.
